What you're making
A small world of your own with one thing in it that reacts when the player touches it. By the end you'll have built, scripted, played and shared a game.
1. Add things
Open the Build shelf on the left. Tap anything to add it to your world: a tree, a crate, a platform. Add five things.
- Drag a thing to move it.
- Use the handles to turn it or make it bigger.
- Pick a colour in Properties on the right.
2. Play it
Press Play. Walk around with WASD, jump with Space. Press Stop (or Esc) to come back to building.
3. Make something react
Select one of your things. Open Script and pick Blocks. Drag out:
- When a player touches this
- inside it, Paint this and pick a colour
- then Show "You found it!" on screen for 2 seconds
Press Play and walk into it.
4. Make it yours
Try one of these:
- Move this up by 4 inside the touch block makes a lift.
- Send the player back to the start makes lava.
- Play sound gives it a pop.
5. Share it
Press Publish to get a link. Swap laptops with a neighbour and play each other's world. Tell them one thing you liked.
